Exclusive Behind-The-Scenes Video of An Emotional & Bloody Robby Royce!

Posted on 14 Jan 2010 by PCW

WINNIPEG, MB - Exclusive behind-the-scenes video footage has surfaced of an angry, emotional Robby Royce immediately following his bloody brawl with the Alliance of Defiance at Season's Beatings! The melee came after Royce engaged in a classic contest against PCW Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega and was perpetrated by AOD's "Illustrious" Mr Brooks, "Outlaw" Adam Knight and Royce's long-time friend and partner Anderson Tyson Moore.

The cause of the violent dispute was due to the shocking break-up of Team Impact. The four-time former PCW Tag Team Champions, multiple-time Tag Team of the Year and considered by most to be the best tag team on the planet came to a stunning end at PCW's Hellbound.

Royce and ATM seemed to have the world in the palm of their hands as they celebrated their Back to School Bash victory over Ring of Honor Superstars El Generico & Kevin Steen, The Suicide Kings and ROH's Kenny Omega & Donny Dicaprio and vowed they would hold the gold as long as they chose to. But Brooks and ATM were not amused when Royce chose to defend the honour of the team and himself by agreeing to face Mike Angels in singles competition. He was victorious, but with the Tag Team Championship defense later in the evening, some questioned whether the decision to wrestle twice was a wise one.

Team Impact were scheduled to defend the titles against former champions The Suicide Kings in the main event of Hellbound, but PCW Legend TJ Bratt orchestrated a major surprise. He revealed that he had taken on a mentor role to Sabertooth and the 400lb behemoth was cashing in his open championship contract immediately. He further shocked the audience by revealing the "German Juggernaut" as 'Tooth's surprise partner. When the smoke had cleared from the titanic main event, Sabertooth & Moses were the new champions as Mr Brooks was irate.

He began berating ATM and Royce, but the 15+ year veteran would not be disrespected and shoved his manager away. He was suddenly struck with a devastating superkick to the side of the head from ATM. One might have excused emotions in that situation, but ATM then battered Royce with a steel chain while Brooks cheered him on. It was clear that the two men had been considering that option for some time, or at least had festering feelings of resentment towards the legendary Royce.

At Season's Beating, the AOD joined by Adam Knight and Kraven Sicario, committed one of the most disrespectful acts ever witnessed in a Manitoba wrestling ring when they performed a mock funeral for the career of "Showtime". During a heinous ten-bell salute, an enraged Royce hit the ring with a baseball bat and cleared house, promising it was not the last time they'd see him.

Royce made his presence known throughout the night, ensuring "Average" Joe Dixon had a fair opportunity to defeat Knight for the PCW Canadian Championship and that ATM would be embarrassed in a loss to upstart rookie Sir Bradley Charles! The AOD would seek revenge following the main event, attacking and brutalizing Royce. They told him they'd gladly face him in a tag team match to prove their superiority but that after years of being the hated top dog, Royce had no allies willing to stand beside him to oppose the overwhelming strengths of the AOD.

Royce refused to stay down and with blood pouring down his face, he revealed that he had made a few phone calls and found the one man willing to fight. A man who knew him as well as anyone, who had pushed him further than anyone. A man who was truly an internationally decorated veteran superstar. The former ECW, NWA & AWA World Heavyweight Champion and current Ring of Honor Superstar, his former arch-nemisys "The King of Old School" Steve Corino!

As soon as Royce entered the locker room following the announcement, with blood still covering his face, he unleashed a passionate, emotional warning to the AOD and PCWaction.com has come into possession of that video.

#1: ADAM KNIGHT

Defeating Antonio Scorpio Jr. to retain his golden ticket and later cashing it in on former AOD member ATM secured Knight's spot at number 1.
#2: KENNY OMEGA

Although he was absent, you can't deny Kenny's historic reign as champion as well as his recent accomplishments and big matches overseas in Japan.
#3: DARIEN KARISMA

It seems as if going the lone route was the perfect fit for Karisma. He retained the Junior Heavyweight Championship in another competitive match with Kory Kinkade.
#4: SEEDS OF EVIL

Although they didn't win the six man tag, their sheer dominance over the past few months keeps them in the Top 5. That, along with giving Chris Marxwell a bad hair day!
#5: SCOTT JUSTICE

It seems as if the losing streak is now over for Scott Justice. Being forced to face his best friend with his career on the line, Scott proved to be quite the tough young star and prevailed in a violent street fight.
