Posted on 23 Nov 2009 by Jay Premier Championship Wrestling is pleased to announce the re-signing of perhaps one of the most controversial figures in the Winnipeg wrestling scene, Mike Arnott. He began his career on the microphone as PCW's ring announcer, considered perhaps the greatest in the past 10 years in the local scene. However, just calling the wrestlers to the ring wasn't enough for him as he hosted a wrestling radio show dubbed, "The Squared Circle". Many fans may remember his antics on his show as they grew more and more controversial each time. The verbal attacks, political agendas, and even physical confrontations were a highlight every time Arnott was given the mic on this radio show. However, due to the violence and excessive language, he was suspended from his hosting duties not once...but on two separate occasions! He attempted to return and be a more reserved host however, it was short-lived and on strike three, he was removed from the air permanently. Afterwards, Arnott returned to PCW under a different role...as an agent. He was immediately hired by Antonio Scorpio Jr to deal with the backstage politics in his quest for the PCW Heavyweight Championship. Arnott did everything in his power to get Scorpio a title shot but it seems he was always doing more harm than good. And while being the agent for Scorpio, he also managed to bring back the controversial Team Impact to PCW and allowed them to capture the PCW Tag Team Championships on their first night back! If the ensemble wasn't impressive enough, Arnott also searched the Rocky Mountains with Team Impact at his side and discovered the manbeast fans know and love today, Sabertooth! Arnott used him as an instrument of destruction, to destroy everything in their path as this quartet of carnage was set on their goal to take over Premier Championship Wrestling. However, things turned awry as Arnott threw himself into things and couldn't get out of this one as he made himself Scorpio's partner in a match to try and get the title of number one contender back to Scorpio who was in a race with Mentallo to receive the title shot. It would be Arnott and Scorpio teaming up to take on the likes of Mentallo and PCW Heavyweight Champion (and current PWG World Champion), the World's Own, Kenny Omega. In this match, fans witnessed the decimation of Mike Arnott as he took a Doomsday's Device from his opponents and Mike Arnott was never seen or heard from again in the PCW locker room. Soon after, Arnott turned up around the local scene begging for a spot however, knowing how controversial and hot-headed he has been in the past. Everyone has been afraid to sign him, knowing the damage he has caused in the past and his ability to sign and unite some of the top wrestling stars in the region. Well, Premier Championship Wrestling has dared to take that step! Mike Arnott is now a journalistic contributor to the PCW website with his own blog, "Uncensored" in which he will be given the floor in a no holds barred atmosphere. He will share his thoughts, opinions, and express his controversial-self in what should be an entertaining read. However, due to Arnott's volatile nature, he will not be participating at PCW's live events and strictly contribute as a journalist and blogger.
