Posted on 16 Dec 2009 by Jay I am just letting all of you know that I am in such a great, wonderful mood. As I sit here in my PJ's watching the latest episode of Dexter, I can't help but look back at such a positive year for my career. In May, I was appointed as Director of Authority for PCW. In that time, I've brought in an influx of officials to uphold the law in the ring and in the meantime, scoring some great talent deals...mainly, Scott Justice. Scott's been great to work with. We met online in 2004 and have been best friends ever since, the fact that we're working together in a wrestling promotion is a dream come true. The only thing greater than that is how successful we've been! Throughout all of 2009, Scott Justice has remained undefeated in PCW! Something only a couple of men can say. Scott has 4 amazing victories over an absent Antonio Scorpio Jr., a victory of the ever-so-popular Chris Marxwell, the fan-favorite newcomer, Sir Bradley Charles...and of course the longest reigning champion in PCW history, Chad Tatum! Now, Tatum's been saying that there is some controversy behind how the match ended and I can tell you that the pinfall itself was a judgment call by the official but he made the right choice. Being senior official, I was watching Tatum's shoulders and they were counted to the mat. I wasn't watching the ropes but they didn't seem to be shaking so all is well and nonetheless, Scott will have the check in the win column against him. And Tatum, I know you will be reading this, and I'd like to speak on behalf of Scott...you are more than welcome to have a rematch. But if it does occur, Scott's just going to have to step harder to prove he's better! Another controversy that arose from the Scott Justice Vs. Chad Tatum match was a certain unknown man darting into the ring. I do not know this man personally, but apparently is a friend of Scott's who is also one of Lance's Storm Wrestling Academy Graduates. I don't have a name, I don't know his motives...but I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing him at New Year's Knockout on January 21st. Apparently this guy IS the business. That's a pretty high moniker to live up to and I'm sure he will. And the controversy doesn't stop there with myself and Scott Justice, no. I told everyone on PWR: Unleashed that Scott and I had a plan and there it was. At any cost necessary, get a hold of the Canadian Championship. And a lot of you are probably thinking why. What I ask you is...why not? Adam Knight lost almost every match of his in 2009, "Average" Joe Dixon spent most of his career as a joker, a goof, and a circus sideshow to brown-nose and to satisfy all of your needs to laugh and chuckle in between the serious wrestlers competing for more than a reaction from all of you. The fact that those men are competing for the Canadian Championship is an absolute disgrace and lowers the self-worth of such a prestigious and coveted trophy. That's why Scott Justice stole the belt. Together with our plan, we are going to restore dignity, honor, and pride in a belt that once stood for the up-and-comers...not the end-of-their-roaders. Come New Year's Knockout, the Canadian Championship will have a restored sense of glory and meaningfulness to it. It will be a trophy that any independent wrestler in Canada or even the world should be begging for a shot at. But not Scott...as far as I'm concerned he's the poster boy for championship gold. And one more quick newsbit and shocking announcement before I wrap up this blog. As everyone already knows, "The King of Old School" Steve Corino is coming to PCW on January 21st. Well...I have news for all of you! Something that will have mass text messages spread across the city of Winnipeg and beyond! I've brokered a deal with Lance Storm in the past which lead to Scott Justice, Sir Bradley Charles, and even a third Storm graduate to burst onto the scene in PCW. Well...I've brokered a new deal! And Steve Corino won't be the only member of the AWA making an appearance at the next PCW show. Stay tuned...and Merry Christmas! Content Management Powered by CuteNews
