WINNIPEG, MB - Premier Championship Wrestling kicked off 2010 in an exceptional manner at New Years Knockout at Dylans On Pembina as Steve Corino shocked the 300 in attendance with a brutal assault of his own tag team partner Robby Royce!

"The King of Old School" had come back to his hometown of Winnipeg at Royce's behest, to be his partner against the Alliance of Defiance's "Outlaw" Adam Knight & Anderson Tyson Moore. It was a surprising twist as Royce and Corino had engaged in a nine year, three-match series that saw them earn a split record against each other. But as both men released video statements, it became clear that their battles over the years and created a profound level of respect for one another. With Royce in a fierce war against his former allies, he wanted no one else but "Mr Wrestling" at his side.

In the main event of New Years Knockout, in front of an absolutely packed Dylans on Pembina, Royce and Corino took the fight to the AOD. Knight & ATM rose to the challenge however, and brutalized the veterans. Royce ended up covered in blood. But he and Corino overcame the challenge and scored the victory.

The fans' joy would soon turn to shock. Royce addressed his partner saying the crowd wanted to see Royce/Corino III. With a split record against each other, it was time to find out who was really the better man. Corino agreed but then leveled Royce with a golf club to the face. He spit out his words like venom, saying he proved his superiority by taking Royce to victory in their tag match. He said the old Steve Corino was back.

The former ECW, NWA & AWA World Heavyweight Champion invited the AOD into the ring and they all battered a barely conscious Royce. Corino said Knight & ATM had proven their level of talent and they were the guys he wanted to run with. He said Royce was finished.

Post match, an irate Corino explained his shocking actions.

At New Years Knockout, Ring of Honor Superstar Steve Corino betrayed Robby Royce with a sickening level of violence and sadism. It is clear these two men are on a bloody collision course to prove once and for all, after nine years, who truly is the better man.
