Posted on 19 Feb 2010 by PCW Chris Marxwell defeated Marty Labossier Chris Marxwell was out to begin the PCW Junior Heavyweight Championship tournament. He was interrupted by Director of Authority Jay Walker, "Australian Playboy" Scott Justice and "The Business" Jon Falcon. Walker said it was his idea and his tournament and that the road had been paved for Scott's success. He would win the title because anything Antonio Scorpio Jr could do, Scott could do better. Jay then said that he was shaking things up and Marxwell's opponent was not Scott, but one half of the PCW Tag Team Champions, Marty Labossier! Marty was accompanied by Nate Hardy and Lacey. Marxwell reversed a roll up and defeated Marty, though the Suicide Kings objected and the tournament began with controversy. Scott Justice defeated Prince Feurgo Jr The Prince was a heavily hyped mystery opponent from Mexico who gave up a lot of weight to Scott but made up for it with speed and agility. The fans did not know what to make of the masked man but soon were cheering wildly for him. However, Scott secured the victory and Feurgo unmasked to reveal the ruse - Jay Walker! Nate Hardy defeated Darien Karisma Walker once again changed things up in his "his" tournament. He revealed to Nate that he would be facing Karisma in his return to in-ring competition. Walker said if Karisma can get in the ring and whine and complain, he can lace up the boots and wrestle. Karisma looked to have zero ring rust and was very impressive, but the savvy Hardy was victorious. Kory Kinkade defeated Pete Chee Kinkade was not even in gear and was at ringside to support his friend Karisma when Walker said he was in the next match in the tournament but only if he could make weight. Jay made Kinkade get on a scale and declared him over the weight limit. Kinkade removed his heavy sweat jacket and hat but was still over the limit. He removed his shows and pants and stood in nothing but his Marvel Comics boxer short, but was still slightly over the limit. Kinkade sent Karisma to the back to fetch two large towels which were held around him as Kinkade removed his boxers, placed them gently on the shoulder of ring announcer "Filthy" Josh Hammerstein and weighed himself again. Success! A disappointed Walker aid the match would begin immediately and Pete Chee attacked. Kinkade was forced to wrestle in his boxers but was able to defeat the violent Chee. Post match, Robby Royce hit the ring and told Pete & Pon Chee to hit the bricks as he had waited long enough for an answer to his challenge. He demanded to know if Steve Corino would face him at the Anniversary Show on March 25th. An angry Pete Chee attacked Royce but was dispatched from the ring. Pon Chee soon followed. The Alliance of Defiance - "Illustrious" TJ Brooks, "Outlaw" Adam Knight, Anderson Tyson Moore and Kraven Sicario entered the ring. Brooks said Corino absolutely accepted and had sent along a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijVyio2qSQE In the video, Corino and friends were enjoying watching the New Years Knockout post-main event attack. Steve said Royce could have any match he wanted because he'd end his career at the Anniversary Show! Royce was happy to hear it as he revealed that it would be the sickest, most violent match of all time - a 16 foot steel chain dog collar match for the first time in PCW history! PCW Canadian Championship "Average" Joe Dxon beat "All World" Mike Angels A highly anticipated match as multiple time champion Mike Angels finally faced the winningest superstar in Canada - the undefeated in 15 months Joe Dixon! As promised, Kraven Sicario made his presence known, attacking Angels. But he was able to recover. An irate Kraven fumed at Dixon allowing Angels to get the better of the champion, but still, Dixon was able to recover. A 265lb frog splash later and Dixon has defeated wrestling's "measuring stick" Mike Angels! PCW CDN Title Number One Contenders Match Anderson Tyson Moore NC "Priceless" Chad Tatum Before the bell rang, Dixon was out to introduce himself to "Chip" Tatum. He said as far as he was concered, Tatum and ATM were simply fighting over who would be the first loser. He thanked Tatum for helping him out last month but it meant nothing to him. Dixon would sit at ringside and ordered both men to entertain him. An exceptional match as expected but the AOD marred the result as Knight hit the ring and began assaulting Tatum. A wild brawl ensued with a two on one beat down of Tatum. Dixon finally chose to return the favour and lend Tatum a hand, dumping Knight & ATM to the floor. Commissioner Chris Stevens was out and was irate that the PCW Canadian Championship match at the Anniversary Show was not going to take place now as there was not an official number one contender. Instead, he ordered Dixon vs Tatum vs ATM vs Knight in a Fatal Fourway! And because Tatum kept talking about not having many matches left and because everyone hated ATM and because Knight should have been suspended for life anyway he wanted to raise the stakes - Whomever loses the match, loses their career! Scott Justice defeated Chris Marxwell The sentimental favourite was surely Chris Marxwell as the popular remarkable one was accompanied by "Enforcer" JP Kaos! In the end, however, the well-rested Justice overcame Marxwell. Post match, Jay Walker and Justice embraced warmly. Kory Kinkade defeated Nate Hardy On a night of surprises, perhaps one of the largest as Kory Kinkade wrestled like a man posessed against the wily veteran Nate Hardy. One half of the PCW Tag Team Champions and the current CWF Canadian Champion, Nate had a tremendous edge in experience. A former RME Cruiserweight Champion himself, Kinkade was not completely unfamiliar with big match situations. The fans were solidly behind Kinkade. As usual, Nate had his girlfriend Lacey at ringside and her luck continued to be bad as she was inadvertently struck. Her would-be guardian angel, the 400 lb Sabertooth hit the ringside area to check on her, followed by a clerly frustrated and angry TJ Bratt and Moses Luke. In the heat of the moment, Nate was distracted and defeated by Kinkade! Post Match, Nate verbally confronted Tooth and was incredulous that he would once again tend to his girlfriend. He told him he had warned Tooth before...and would not warn him again. He called him every name in the book and said there was no way Lacey or any other woman would want to be with him... Lacey then angrily grabbed the mic and told Nate not to speak to Sabertooth like that. She said Tooth had always been a gentleman and had been there for her way more than Nate had. Tj Bratt interjected, demanding an end to "this bullshit". He said when he was an active wrestler, it was about men kicking the ass of other men and making money, winning matches and championships, not a love triangle. He lambasted Sabertooth for being more concerned with the well-being of Lacey than with his tag team with Moses Luke. Bratt said they wanted theit titles back. Tooth stared at Lacey, causing Nate to lose it and attack him. Tooth gained the upper-hand quickly but Marty Labossier assisted Hardy. Mo and Bratt could only shake their heads. JP Kaos and Chris Marxwell hit the ring. Kaos cleared house with his kendo stick, smashing it against the skull of Sabertooth repeatedly! Marxwell announced he and Kaos were the hottest tag team in the province and wanted the shot at the Suicide Kings next month. Commissioner Stevens demanded a halt to the physical aggression. He said it was looking more like a Soap Opera than a wrestling show...and not a good Soap Opera like Young and the Restless, but a bad one, like Passions. He said the Anniversary Show was about competition and championships, not personal drama. Therefore, he was ordering a Triple Threat Match - Suicide Kings vs 787 vs Marxwell & Kaos. Stevens further said he didnt care whom Lacey went home with but he wanted this love triangle resolved by the Anniversary Show! As the ring cleared, a dapper looking Mike Arnott hit the ring from the crowd. He asked Stevens to give him a moment of his time. He explained that he had, indeed, been who everyone thought he was the entire time - the masked Big Chee. But he did it for a reason. He said that he had broken into the business with PCW four years earlier and it had been a dream come true, but that a year ago he made a fateful decision to quit PCW to work for the competition...and then he learned that they didnt even serve beer at Community Centres and that people would get upset when you brought your own. So he tried to come back to PCW, but no one wanted him. So he had to parade around in a ridiculous mask pretending to be a Ugandan High Chieftain. He was now asking Stevens for one more chance. "Please reinstate me," he asked. Stevens said hell no. Arnott got down on his knees and begged. Stevens said no. Arnott implored him to give him a second chance. Stevens asked the crowd who seemed split. But Stevens said no. Arnott grew angry, warning Stevens not to make him flip out..."just reinstate me!" he demanded! Stevens refused. Arnott began ranting and raving and finally Stevens dropped him with a right hand and said he'd never, ever step foot in a PCW ring again. PCW Heavyweight Championship Match Kenny Omega defeated Kraven Sicario The Mexicutioner was accompanied by Mr Brooks as the pride of Mexico faced "The World's Own" in a thrilling match. It was clear however, that Kraven was out-matched by the exceptional Omega. But Kraven was determined to utilize any means neccessary to secure victory...but Kenny was having none of it and pinned the "Inter-Galactic" Superstar! Kraven immediately attacked Omega's groin. Angels hit the ring for the save and said he was sick of being dogged by Kraven for months, so if everyone else was going to make challenges for the Anniversary show, he was too - he wanted Kraven in the ring, one on one. And when he was finished with Kraven, he wanted what was rightfully his - the PCW Heavyweight Championship! He tossed Kenny the mic. Omega cut a very entertaining promo saying he was very busy flying all over the world representing PCW and he didnt have a match yet for the Anniversary Show. He said he would make a challenge because everywhere he went, people said "Kenny Omega is the best wrestler in the world, except for one man..." or "Kenny Omega is my favourite wrestler, except for one man..." and he was tired of hearing it. So he was ordering PCW management to make it a reality - at the Anniversary Show, Kenny Omega would face that one man...Davey Richards! The best wrestler in the world, Davey Richards vs the hottest independent superstar on the planet, Kenny Omega!
